a bike-friendly destination

Stretching from Menton in the Alpes-Maritimes department to Thonon-les-Bains in Haute-Savoie, the Route des Grandes Alpes is an unmissable cycle route which weaves its way through wild and unspoilt countryside and up and down mountains with breathtaking views. The Col de l’Iseran, the route’s highest peak at some 2,770 metres, can be reached from Brides-les-Bains.

The town has been recognised as being bike-friendly. It’s certainly the ideal base camp for road bike climbs.
